Der Dom gilt als wichtige Sehenswürdigkeit Berlins und großartiges Gesamtkunstwerk: die Gruft der Hohenzollern, die bunten Altarfenster mit biblischen Motiven, die filigranen Mosaiken, die Sauer-Orgel mit ihren 7000 Pfeifen und die Kuppel mit Panoramablick über die Stadt – für Einheimische wie Touristen ist der Dom ein Teil Berlins, auf das man nicht verzichten möchte.
