Grunewald. Kurz vor dem Roseneck, auf der rechten Seite des Hohenzollerndamms stadtauswärts gelegen verbreitet das „Habel“ etwas, das es sonst kaum noch gibt: West-Berliner Grunewald-Charme. Edle Feinkostgeschäfte gibt es hier, das „Wiener Café“, ausgesuchte Düfte und eben „Habel“ mit klassischer Berliner Küche. Der Name Habel geht auf einen Hoflieferanten Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts zurück. „Das Haus hier besteht seit 1921 als gas­t- ronomische Institution“, erklärt Betreiber Thomas Ebelt.
